Ter vervanging van een professionele Aziatische momentsleutel met hetzelfde bereik gekocht. Deze Gedore kost 3x zo veel maar dat merk je aan alles. De kwaliteit is van het hoogste niveau, het verstellen verloopt licht en soepel over het gehele bereik, de nauwkeurigheid overtreft de gegarandeerde 3% afwijking (gemeten 2%), de omkeerbare kop maakt hem ook geschikt voor linkse schroefdraden (een groot voordeel). Het gebruik is prettig mits de regels worden gevolgd, maar dat is logisch bij een precizie-gereedschap. Bij het bereiken van het ingestelde moment, is een hard klik hoor- en voelbaar. Wel ligt het aangrijpingspunt wat verder weg dan gewenst is, wat door het beperkte aantal tanden van de ratelkop komt (lange aangrijpingsslag). Dit kan een probleem opleveren wanneer de slagruimte erg beperkt is, maar meestal is dit wel te voorkomen met een dopverlenging. Gedore levert deze sleutel in een goedkope schuifdoos van transparant plastic, wat ik absoluut niet vind passen bij het merk. Maar daar heeft Klium geen schuld aan. Na een klacht bij Gedore te hebben gedeponeerd, kan ik nu de momentsleutel goed beschermd tegen vuil en vocht bewaren in een stalen koffer.
